Terms of Service
Effective date: October 2, 2026 · Version 2026-10-02
These Terms are an agreement between you and RigHired LLC ("RigHired," "we," "us"), which runs righired.com. They apply to trucking companies that use RigHired to find drivers ("carriers") and to drivers who apply through RigHired ("drivers"). By creating an account, buying a lead or applying, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you sign up for a company, you confirm you're allowed to bind that company.
- Browsing your matched drivers is free. You pay to unlock a driver's contact details, and placement fees when a driver you hired starts and completes his first week. Your prices are shown in your account before you pay.
- An unlock fee is refunded if we can't reach the driver, unless we already have his CDL, MVR or PSP.
- If you hire a driver you found through RigHired within 12 months, the placement fees apply even if you hire him another way.
- Use driver information only to consider that driver for a job with you, and follow the law when you do.

1. What RigHired does
RigHired matches CDL drivers with carriers that are hiring, using what drivers tell us about themselves and what carriers tell us about their open positions. Our recruiters contact drivers, help with checks the carrier asks for, and keep both sides informed. RigHired is not the employer of any driver and does not make hiring decisions. Each carrier decides whom to hire, on what terms, and is responsible for its own hiring process, including all checks required of it by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) and the Department of Transportation (DOT), such as the driver qualification file, drug and alcohol testing, and Clearinghouse queries.
2. Accounts
Give accurate information and keep it up to date. Carriers must have an active USDOT number; we verify it with FMCSA before you can buy leads. Keep your sign-in details secure; you're responsible for activity under your account and for the people you give logins to. Tell us right away at the email below if you think your account was used without permission.
3. Carrier fees
Your prices are set for your company and shown in your account (Billing, and on each lead before you buy it). The fees are:
- Unlock, contact only: charged when you unlock a matched driver's contact details.
- Unlock with MVR and PSP: charged when you unlock with this option. We order the driver's Motor Vehicle Record and Pre-Employment Screening Program report with his authorization and share them with you.
- Driver in the truck: due when both you and the driver confirm he started driving for you, or when RigHired determines he started after reviewing a disagreement.
- After week one: due when both of you confirm he completed his first 7 days, or when RigHired determines he did after reviewing a disagreement.
Confirm starts and completed weeks honestly and promptly. If your answer and the driver's don't match, we review the conversation and records and decide; we'll tell you why. Prices in effect when you unlock a driver apply to that driver's placement fees. Fees don't include taxes; if any apply, you pay them.
4. Payment
Card payments are processed by Stripe; RigHired never sees or stores your full card number. When you save a card, you authorize RigHired to charge it for unlocks you choose to buy. Placement fees are invoiced by email and due within 7 days, payable by card or US bank transfer. If an invoice is more than 15 days overdue, we may pause your access to new leads until it's paid. If you dispute a charge with your bank without first contacting us, we may suspend your account while it's resolved.
5. Refunds
If we can't reach a driver you unlocked (he's marked "no contact"), we refund that unlock fee to the original payment method, unless we already received his CDL, MVR or PSP after you unlocked him; in that case the work was done and the fee stays. Other fees are not refundable, except where the law requires a refund or we made a billing mistake, which we'll always correct.
6. Hires and non-circumvention
You agree that if you, or a company you control or are under common control with, hire or contract a driver whom you first learned about through RigHired, within 12 months after he was first shown to you, the placement fees for that driver apply, whether you hire him through RigHired, directly, or through anyone else. This includes drivers you passed on and later hired. Tell us about these hires; we may ask you to confirm whether a driver started. This section survives the end of these Terms.
7. Driver information and reports
Driver details, documents and reports you get through RigHired are confidential. You may use them only to consider that driver for employment or a driving contract with your company, and only as the law allows. Don't sell, share or publish them, and keep them secure.
MVR and PSP reports are consumer reports under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). By ordering or receiving one you certify that you'll use it only for employment purposes for that driver, that you won't use it in violation of any equal employment opportunity law, and that if you take any adverse action based in whole or part on a report, you'll give the driver the notices the FCRA requires. Hiring decisions must not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability or any other protected characteristic.
8. For drivers
Using RigHired is free for drivers. Give truthful information about your license, experience and record; carriers rely on it. By applying, you agree that RigHired and matched carriers may contact you about jobs by phone, text and email as described in our Privacy Policy, and that we share your profile with carriers whose positions fit you. You can ask us to stop contacting you or to delete your information at any time. We only order your MVR or PSP with your separate written authorization.
9. Acceptable use
Don't misuse RigHired: no false information, no accessing accounts or data that aren't yours, no scraping or copying the site or its data, no interfering with how it works, no spam or harassment of drivers, and nothing unlawful. Don't contact drivers you found through RigHired for any purpose other than considering them for a job with you.
10. No guarantees
We work hard to match the right drivers and check what we can, but RigHired is provided "as is." We don't guarantee that any driver will be available, accept a job, pass your checks, perform well or stay, or that information drivers and third parties provide is complete or accurate. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
11. Limits on liability
To the extent the law allows, RigHired won't be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits or revenue, and our total liability for any claim relating to RigHired is limited to the fees you paid us in the 3 months before the claim arose. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.
12. Indemnity
Carriers agree to defend and hold RigHired harmless from claims arising from their hiring decisions, their employment or contracting of drivers, their use of driver information or reports, or their breach of these Terms or the law.
13. Suspension and ending
You can stop using RigHired at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these Terms, doesn't pay, or puts drivers or RigHired at risk. Fees already earned stay due, and sections 6, 7, 10, 11, 12 and 15 continue to apply.
14. Changes
We may update these Terms. We'll post the new version here with a new effective date and, for material changes, tell carriers by email or in their account before they take effect. If you keep using RigHired after that, the new Terms apply; changes don't apply retroactively to fees already incurred.
15. Law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and by applicable US federal law. Before starting any legal claim, contact us so we can try to resolve it informally within 30 days. Any claim that isn't resolved will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Wyoming, and both sides consent to their jurisdiction.
